Renovation, Anna Valley – 2024

A burst water pipe in the loft that happened when the customers were on holiday resulted an entire house renovation to put things right.

Owing to the original walls being made of compacted straw (80’s innovation) and soaking in all the water all walls and flooring had to be stripped out and rebuild everything again. This also enabled us to make some changes and improvements to the original design – new heating system and pressurised water cylinder and bigger main bathroom.

Furthermore, we could board out the entire loft space now all old pipes and tanks had been removed. Downstairs, a whole new underfloor heating system was installed finished with LVT Herringbone tiles throughout giving a striking modern feel.

A huge undertaking considering the initial destruction but hugely satisfying upon completion.
