Lovely transformation from tired old conservatory to modern, airy and insulated summer room.

Using the existing conservatory base and updating and modifying the existing brickwork I was able to install a steel crank beam and post for the roof.

This allowed for a vaulted insulated roof and to make openings for two sets of bi-fold doors that meet on the corner. Finished with traditional slate roof with two Velux windows to allow in additional light.

Unlike the previous conservatory the room now functions as part of the house and is useable year round.
